News, insights and perspectives from Wells Fargo are also available at Wells Fargo Stories.PVSI ControlThe PVSI Control team is specifically responsible for the management of non-financial risk within PVSI, including operational risk, compliance risk, model risk, reputation risk and strategic risk. -- --Regulatory Engagement LeadThis role will be part of a team responsible for PVSI Regulatory Engagement Lead. The Regulatory Engagement Lead holds primary accountability for the coordination of exam review activities across PVSI. The Regulatory Engagement Lead provides leadership and guidance to PVSI business leaders on exams, inquiries, and other interactions, in compliance with the regulatory relations policy and associated procedures. The role requires a collaborative individual capable of initiating action and managing change in a fast paced environment, as well as strong relationship management, influencing, vision and execution skills. Role responsibilities include:

  • Exam Management Coordination
    • Single point of contact for the Examiner while coordinating regulatory exams for PVSI
    • Understands the Regulatory Relations Policy and can lead business partners through a regulatory exam
    • Ensures the proper level of senior executive engagement and subject matter expertise is involved and aware of actions required
    • Facilitation and governance of all communication and documentation between Examiner and the Line of Business
    • Gathers artifacts and responses requested by Examiner
    • Research of potential issues raised by Examiner
    • Identify and inform PVSI leadership of risk and escalated actions --
    • Regulatory Inquiries
      • Coordinates responses to regulatory inquiries and other counter parties
      • Ongoing Supervision Meetings
        • Assists in the planning and coordination of ongoing supervision meetings with regulators, including meetings with Business Unit, Risk, and Support Aligned Control Executives
        • Prepares executives and business leadership on key messages to present when working with regulators
        • Regulatory Responses
          • As appropriate, coordinates Bank------s response to regulator supervisory letter
          • Manages and provides active oversight during the regulatory response process

            Required Qualifications
            • 6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both

              • Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives
              • Knowledge and understanding of banking: regulations, compliance, policies, process, and procedures
              • Ability to evaluate risks and the impact of decisions on an overall organization
              • Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
              • Knowledge and understanding of analytical methods used in: root cause analysis
              • A BS/BA degree or higher
              • Knowledge and understanding of financial services industry: compliance, risk management, or audit operations
              • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
              • Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

                Other Desired Qualifications
                • Risk Certification Programs a plus
                • Working knowledge of PVSI relationships and transaction processes -- --
                • Strong understanding of policies, procedures, and programs to ensure appropriate and effective risk mitigation controls are in place
