region that seeks to add an outstanding Accounting Manager to its

capital to support its growth.POSITION SUMMARY The Accounting
Manager is a newly created position reporting to the Controller
that will be an integral member of the finance team. This position
is primarily responsible for the Company's accounting activities
and for timely and accurate financial statement preparation. The
ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have strong accounting
knowledge, and both public and private experience, preferably in
lower to middle market organizations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES Essential functions include but are not limited to
the following:* Oversee and manage the Company's general accounting
functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable,
accounts receivable, inventory and general ledger* Review monthly
activity entered into the accounting and operating systems to
ensure that all income and expense transactions are coded and
classified correctly* Oversee/perform reconciliations of key
financial accounts on a monthly basis* Support quarterly and
year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate
financial controls audit* Assess current practices and procedures,
and make recommendations for improvements around process and
controls* Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to
ensure accuracy and completeness* Perform ad hoc analysis and
projects as requested* Supervise and/or manage general ledger
accounting functions* Develop staff by managing performance,
setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong
employee relationships* Work with external auditors to ensure
correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end* Provides
backup support to other groups in the Accounting department.* Types
periodic reports and other records and performs general
administrative duties.* Perform additional tasks at the request of
supervisor and company leadership.STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE* Ability
to read and interpret documents such as audit reports, accounting
regulations, credit reports, letters of credit, etc.* Ability to
write professional business reports and correspondence.* Ability to
interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral,
diagram, or schedule form.* Ability to conduct research and
evaluate data to make informed decisions; apply common sense or
sound judgement with a high degree of due diligence and care to
solve problems effectively.* Ability to prioritize workload in
order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic work
environment.* Ability to interact with personnel at all levels of
the organization (from Managing Partner to clerical).* Self-starter
with high initiative that can work independently.* Ability to
research, compile, analyze and interpret data.* Accurate
interpretation of information and direction received from customers
and internal departments.* Accurate and timely completion of
projects and/or reports.* Effectively manage interpersonal
relationships encouraging openness, candor and trust, both
internally and externally.* Cultural champion that leads by a
positive example.* Initiative and creative forward thinking in
decision-making, problem resolution and in the performance of job

confidential manner.QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's degree
from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in
Accounting or Finance or related field and 4+ years related
experience and/or training; required.* Public accounting experience
preferred.* Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP.* High degree of
accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.* Excellent time
management and organizational skills.* Excellent oral and written
communication skills.* High degree of proficiency with MS Office
software, especially Excel, Outlook and Word.* High degree of
proficiency with financial systems and accounting software,
QuickBooks a plus.Mental and Physical RequirementsThe physical

levels.Estimated Salary Range$68-78,000Note This job description in
