Job Description Job Description We are looking for a
detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team in
Chesapeake, Virginia. In this Contract to permanent role, you will
play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of waste
management and emergency response activities across multiple store
locations. This position is ideal for candidates with strong
organizational skills and a customer-focused mindset, who are eager
to build relationships and streamline processes. Responsibilities:
• Coordinate waste and recycling management for stores within
assigned states, ensuring effective and timely resolution of
issues. • Address and manage building emergencies such as fires,
floods, power outages, and weather-related hazards. • Provide
support to department managers by assisting with daily facility
needs and changes as requested. • Organize and prioritize incoming
requests while maintaining accurate records of call history in a
Computerized Maintenance Management System. • Build and maintain
strong relationships with vendors to secure competitive pricing and
reliable service. • Assist with incident cleanup and resolution of
plumbing or liquid spill issues. • Monitor and respond to immediate
facility concerns to minimize disruptions. • Ensure compliance with
company policies and procedures related to facility management. •
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize operational
efficiency.• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative
role or related field. • Proficiency in managing vendor
relationships and ensuring service quality. • Strong customer
service skills with the ability to handle urgent requests
effectively. • Expertise in Microsoft Excel for organizing and
analyzing data. • Familiarity with computerized maintenance
management systems or similar tools. • Solid organizational skills
with a detail-oriented approach to task management. • Ability to
multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced
environment. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and
written, for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
