Description BryceTech has an immediate opening for a Operations
Manager – Mid to support the Under Secretary of Defense/Deputy
Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering
(USD/DUSD(R&E)) Front Office; (2) the Offices of the Assistant
Secretary of Defense (OASD) for Science and Technology (S&T),
Mission Capabilities (MC), and Critical Technologies (CT); and (3)
Deputy Secretary of Defense (DSD). The Operations Manager – Mid
will provide technical management and leadership necessary to
efficiently and effectively run front office operations for senior
OUSD(R&E) leadership. Responsibilities Responsible for
analyzing existing operational workflows to identify improvement
opportunities and recommend strategies that enhance efficiency and
productivity. Responsible for developing and implementing quality
assurance programs to monitor performance and ensure adherence to
established standards. Responsible providing guidance, training,
and performance feedback to improve team effectiveness and
engagement. Responsible for supporting the development and
execution of long-term operational strategies aligned with
OUSD(R&E) objectives. Responsible for establishing and tracking
key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing operational data, and
preparing reports for senior leadership. Responsible for
identifying operational risks, developing mitigation strategies,
and ensuring business continuity. Responsible for ensuring
operational compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry
standards, and internal policies. Responsible for providing key
organizational and knowledge management (KM) support by tracking
task progress, advising on administrative systems, recommending KM
technologies, developing integrated task management tools, and
coordinating assignments to ensure timely completion. Responsible
for evaluating staffing and implementing process improvements by
developing resource plans, updating procedures and policies,
refining operational processes, and delivering targeted staff
training to improve efficiency and productivity. Responsible for
analyzing programs and projects against OUSD(R&E) goals by
implementing performance metrics, providing data-driven
recommendations, preparing progress reports and briefs, and
assessing project and process effectiveness. Responsible for
leading projects and initiatives by developing planning artifacts,
facilitating integrated teams, and producing executive-level status
updates and briefings. Responsible for providing decision support
to senior Government clients by creating structured frameworks that
translate complex issues into clear, actionable solutions.
Responsible for Support the Government in personnel management,
cost estimating, strategy development, and operational, technical,
and business process initiatives. Responsible for Managing security
for classified programs by ensuring regulatory compliance,
identifying and mitigating risks, implementing OPSEC programs,
conducting inspections, overseeing physical and information
security, and communicating policies and recommendations to all
levels of management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business,
management, or a related technical field (e.g., science,
mathematics, or engineering) is required 3 years of demonstrated
relevant experience is required Four (4) years of specialized
experience including military or industry may be substituted in
lieu of specific educational requirements Ability to work in fast
paced environment with excellent oral and written communication
skills Ability to maintain a professional bearing in all meetings,
briefings and discussions with senior staff PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree is preferred in related field PMP
