Marketing & Communications ManagerOur firm is seeking a highly motivated Marketing & Communications Manager with a strong work ethic to join our firm to help define and build upon our marketing programs. The Marketing & Communications Manager will work closely with firm management on all aspects of our overall marketing and brand recognition efforts. This individual will develop and execute our marketing strategy using both digital and traditional media to build a respected brand in our community and position Lowe, Brockenbrough as the firm of choice for investors.The position requires an individual who possesses strong interpersonal and analytical skills, and works effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. This individual must be reliable, diligent, goal-oriented, and have strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities--- Execute a comprehensive marketing strategy and plan that is aligned with the firm's long-term and short-term goals and appeals to its ideal client persona--- Serve as the firm's brand steward to help lead brand recognition and firm identity initiatives--- Assist in developing a compelling proposition that communicates the firm's value to clients for use in all collateral and business development activities--- Coordinate and integrate all facets of online and offline marketing-including website content, marketing collateral and communications materials, print, social media and email campaigns, public relations and events - to deliver captivating and consistent firm messaging--- Production of printed marketing and presentation materials--- Oversee and regularly update the firm's website, applying search engine optimization and analyzing traffic metrics to measure client and prospect engagement--- Assist in the management and day-to-day utilization of the firm's CRM system--- Collaborate with each of the firm's business platforms to create and maintain a prospect database--- Develop a process to measure, analyze, and review marketing metrics performance against the plan, prioritize recommendations, and to support decision making--- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to set communications calendar, creative strategy, content promotions, and business development initiatives--- Influence media channels to feature firm accomplishments, announce new hires, and promote the corporate and civic efforts of the firm's employees
Competencies--- Experience successfully developing and executing marketing strategies and plans--- Experience with social media applications and CRM platforms--- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively--- Ability to make sound decisions with a strong sense of urgency, possessing high degree of professionalism, integrity, and objectivity--- Strong attention to detail with ability to follow through on projects, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously--- Current with industry innovations, trends, and best practices across functional areas--- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify difficult financial concepts to convey to a less experienced audience--- High level of confidentiality and professionalism--- Team player, self-starter, proactive, high degree of autonomy--- Desire and ability to work successfully in a small company environment
Preferred Qualifications--- Bachelor's Degree or post graduate degree in business, marketing or communications--- 3-5+ years relevant marketing experience--- 3+ years of active, hands-on experience with leading e-mail, social media, or CRM platforms
