Job Description:

Position Summary: The Professional Development Instructor will provide training and support to participants in the AbilIT program. This role focuses on teaching essential workplace skills and professional development topics to prepare participants for competitive integrated employment in IT.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver professional development curriculum tailored to the needs of neurodiverse participants.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions on topics such as resume writing, interview skills, and workplace etiquette.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and support to participants to enhance their employability skills.
• Collaborate with the IT Instructor to integrate professional development into the technical training.
• Evaluate participant progress and provide feedback and guidance.
• Maintain up-to-date training materials and resources. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in professional development training, preferably with neurodiverse populations.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt training methods to diverse learning styles.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in workforce development and neurodiversity.
  • Valid Driver's License requiredPhysical Requirements: Ability to sit & stand for extended periods and occasionally lift materials up to 25 pounds.
