Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school
district in Hanover, PA is seeking experienced Speech-Language
Pathologists (SLPs) for contract positions during the current
school year. These roles are based within a regional intermediate
unit serving multiple counties, including Adams, York, and
Franklin, requiring travel among various preschool and early
intervention sites. Responsibilities include providing
speech-language therapy to preschool-age children (3 to 5 years)
with special needs. Therapy services will be delivered across
diverse environments such as preschool special education
classrooms, Head Start programs, Pre-K Counts classes, daycares,
community preschools, and walk-in sessions where parents bring
children directly to the therapist. The annual work calendar
consists of 188 days with a half day per week allocated to
paperwork and IEP meetings. Therapists may be based out of
designated centers within each county, including York Learning
Center (York County), New Oxford office (Adams County), and
Chambersburg facility (Franklin County), with travel considerations
included. Key qualifications and experience: Completion of the
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
(CCC-SLP) Valid Pennsylvania state certification in Speech-Language
Pathology appropriate for school settings Experience with early
intervention and preschool populations preferred Ability to manage
a caseload of 55 students by the end of the school year Clinical
Fellowship Candidates (CFCs) are welcomed; agencies must provide
supervision and cover associated costs Familiarity with pediatric
speech-language evaluation, therapy, and progress documentation
Availability to work 35 hours per week per contract requirements
Note: Support from SLP Assistants (SLPAs) or use of VOCO technology
is not permitted within this contract Benefits: Engagement in
