Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time physical therapist position is available to provide specialized care in an educational setting in Lexington, VA. This role involves delivering therapy services to approximately 1020 students across three schools, supporting their physical development and educational progress within the school division. Key Responsibilities: - Assess, plan, and implement physical therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs. - Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs). - Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and school policies. - Provide recommendations to assist students functional mobility and participation in school activities. Qualifications: - Must hold a current Virginia Physical Therapy license. - Experience working with pediatric populations or school-based therapy is preferred. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Ability to manage caseload effectively across multiple school locations. Additional Details: - This is a part-time contract position. - Services will be delivered within three different schools in the division located in Lexington, VA.
