You will be providing construction analysis and carrying out research on materials characterization, manufacturing equipment troubleshooting, pharmaceutical manufacturing forensics work aimed at events root cause determination and preventive actions. The nature of the work performed by the incumbent will be the solution of specific manufacturing events, these are expected to be non-recurrent after resolution.You will be expected to perform clerical and general maintenance activities for a laboratory setting, such as, but not limited to:HousekeepingDiagnosing broken equipmentSpectroscopic characterizationTracking and scheduling equipment/instrument maintenance activitiesTitrationsGeneral analytical chemistryOrdering suppliesReporting & analysisSamplingCommunication with cross-functional teams in and outside of the organization such as the owner of the equipment, the supplier, the factory, etc.Supporting new instrument acquisitionSafety first and quality always, it is expected for the candidate to follow and abide by all safety rules and regulations including but not limited to personal protective equipment, laboratory best practices, hazardous material handling principles, etc.Expected to work in an environment with potential beta-lactam antibiotic exposure. Qualifications: BS / MS / PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or related discipline. Top Skillset/Experience requirements- Materials characterization, reverse engineering of materials, knowledge of spectroscopic characterization techniques.
