Locations: Sales - DE - Wilmington, United States of America, Wilmington, DelawareSenior Email Engineer Job Description Capital One is seeking a Platform Engineer to be accountable for Strategy, Design and Management of the Corporate Email Platform and project initiatives within Associate Experience Technology. You will be responsible for tracking and reporting on various assignments and will manage multiple initiatives at a time. Responsibilities:

• Design and support for Email Transport platforms (Rules/Policy Development, APIs, Mail Routing)
• Support of Cyber Teams and adherence to compliance related initiatives
• Support and management of Corporate DMARC standards, including ongoing DNS record maintenance
• Release testing of updates to end user email applications
• Work with business partners, and other groups to identify technical and functional needs of LOB generated requests
• Drive the evolution of standards and best practices for messaging services
• Third Level escalation point for messaging services
• Project management for team initiatives and programs
• Regular vendor interaction and management Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 7 years of experience with strategic planning and design of Corporate Email Infrastructure platforms and services
  • At least 7 years of experience in management, troubleshooting, and support of Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) systems
  • At least 7 years of experience in system administration, engineering, design or development methodologies
  • At least 7 years experience in email hygiene
  • At least 7 years of experience in a technical support or software engineering environment
  • At least 5 years experience working with TLS protocols
  • At least 3 years experience in email authentication
  • At least 4 years of experience using build and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHub, or Artifactory)
  • At least 2 years of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) Preferred Qualifications:
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing all or some aspects of ProofPoint Email Protect platform (either Cloud or On-Prem)
    • In depth understanding of Financial Services DLP strategy and methodology
    • 3+ years in Network topology design or management
    • 3+ years experience with AWS
    • 2+ years in experience in Agile practices
    • 2+ years of experience working in a Federally Regulated Financial Services environment At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $131,400 - $150,000 for Senior Platform Engineer Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
