The ideal candidate will ensure that classified systems meet or exceed federal cybersecurity and compliance standards, including vulnerability management, PKI, COMSEC, and audit readiness.Key Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability scans (Tenable, VPR) and implement security hardening.
• Maintain Certification & Accreditation (C&A) packages in CSAM.
• Manage PKI and IC-PKI certificates, including soft/hard token lifecycle management.
• Support audit preparation, contingency planning, and incident response.
• Provide COMSEC support, including key issuance and inventory management.This position is full-time and onsite in Washington, DC. Remote support is not available.Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Alternatively, a minimum of 8 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
• Experience: At least 5 years supporting enterprise IT security in a federal or classified environment.
• Skills/Certifications:
• Experience with Certification & Accreditation (C&A), CSAM, and NIST frameworks.
• Proven skills in security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and audit support.
• Familiarity with DOJ security standards, FISMA, NIST 800-53, RMF, and ICD 503.
• Proficiency with security tools such as Tenable Nessus, Splunk, VPR, etc.
• Strong understanding of PKI, smart card certificates, and IC-PKI lifecycle.
• Experience with security plans, contingency and incident response plans, and control assessments.
• Ability to coordinate with engineering, system administrators, and COMSEC personnel.Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance required; TS/SCI clearance is preferred.Preferred Qualifications
