AccountabilitiesResponsible for monitoring and upkeep of all
Ammonia Refrigeration systemsPerform shift audits of boilers, steam
plant and all steam end usersTest and treat boiler feed water;
monitors RO and water softenersObserves boiler, condensate, and
feed water systems units to detect malfunctions. Make adjustments
and repairs as requiredMaintain log of meter and gauge readings and
records data such as water test results, quantity of fuel consumed,
temperature and pressuresAssist with troubleshooting, analyzing and
repair of electrical control systemsWilling and able to work a
schedule covering 24/7/365Perform multiple tasks simultaneously
Specific Eye Requirements: no contact lenses allowed in engine room
when welding or electrical troubleshooting and repairRequired
QualificationsMust be eligible to work in the United States without
visa sponsorshipMust be 18 years or olderState Technical School
apprenticeship and/or Associate’s degree or equivalent from a
two-year college or an accredited Industrial Refrigeration, Boiler
Tech program or equivalent combination of education and
experienceMust have knowledge of compressed air systemsMust be able
to train and be certified in Hazmat Level A EntryMust be dependable
and have the ability to work flexible hours and/or shiftsMust be
detail orientedMust be a team player, but also work well
alonePreferred QualificationsPrevious
production/maintenance/refrigeration experienceRETA or IIAR
Certification a plusIndustrial Ammonia/Refrigeration and Electrical
