Job Description:
Job Description Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled
and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in
a contract to hire format. It is a 2nd shift position in
Chesapeake, VA. Position Summary: Load tools in machine that have
been pre-set in tool room. Load program in machine control. • Take
test cut and measure before finish machining. Adjust machine
settings, according to blueprints, if necessary. Check and change
tooling. • Adjust speeds and feeds as needed. Must be able to run
conventional machines as well with proficiency. Must have the
ability to make and edit programs without programmer assistance.
Perform minor machine maintenance such as oil, filter and coolant
levels, removal of chips from machine. Experience Education: 3
years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination
of education and experience Compensation: $25/hr to $30/hr. Exact
compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills,
experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will
start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental,
and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account
options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
