Current Need

We are seeking a Sales Administration Analyst, Customer Management to join our team in Richmond, VA.

Position Description

The Sales Administration Analyst is responsible for all aspects of formulary development, establishment and maintenance programs under McKesson Sales Administration. The Sales Administration Analyst will work closely with the sales team for all segments, effectively and proactively support Formulary and Rules Management for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:

  • Administer and maintain customized supply management tools and processes, help drive formulary optimization and best practices for these processes, and work with the sales leader to ensure successful solutions to the customer's formulary and purchasing rules needs.

    Other duties include:

    • Proactively communicating options and process to our internal and external customers
    • Manage SupplyManager issues and assist in the creation of new users with approval levels within customer requirements
    • Research product alternatives using tools and processes aligned to the position
    • Perform analysis, interpret data, recommend findings to support sales field with customer performance
    • Design and create reporting to support formulary compliance and fulfill internal and external customer requests.
    • Develop and execute new approaches/procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the department and services performed
    • Identifies, analyzes, researches and resolves business process issues and makes appropriate recommendations.
    • Interfaces with multiple internal and external teams which may include: sales representatives, customers, third party technology partners, customer service, master data, credit, contract administration, inventory and additional departments, as needed.

      Minimum Requirements

      1+ years' experience in analysis and customer support

      Critical Skills:

      • Advanced MS Excel proficiency (Pivots, formulas, VLOOKUPs)

        Additional Knowledge & Skills

        • Strong written and verbal communication
        • Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
        • Working Knowledge of OBIEE, TOAD, MS Access
        • Analytical skills
        • Strong statistical and mathematical aptitude
        • Ability to frame issues, identify problems, and assertively seek solutions
        • Proven interpersonal skills
        • Problem solving/root cause analysis
        • Organizational planning skills


          4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience
