  • Development opportunities to grow your career with a global company Summary: This position is responsible for the client implementation of strategic services for current and future potential Manufacturer & Provider clients. The position will ensure the timely, accurate, and cost effective conversion of contracted service offerings through the transition to the appropriate functions who will maintain the client relationship. This position reports to the Operating VP Strategic Solutions. Core Responsibilities:
    • Participate in the weekly Sales & Operational planning meeting to; listen and participate on the development of solutions for potential clients, provide updates on status and risks of current clients in the implementation phase.
    • Provide review and approval of all cost models prior to submission of contractual agreement to customer, to ensure that the project scope is representative of our service offering and can be effectively implemented.
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive list of implementation projects--in support of the Manufacturer's & Provider service offerings which includes: distribution network modeling, transportation modeling, inventory optimization, order-to-cash, ISC's, Physician Services (as requested),warehouse space, labor, and capital equipment optimization, as well as new services that might be developed in the future. Additionally shall collaborate on the associated information technology strategies that support the offerings.
    • Lead, direct and develop a team of Solutions Managers, ensuring that the team complies with approved implementation processes and procedures.
    • Interface with the assigned business development teammates and clients to ensure the project scope implemented is consistent with the contractual scope, the customer's assumptions, and the financial assumptions. It is the clear responsibility of the Director Strategic Implementation to ensure the synchronization of the project scope, the contractual requirements, and positive financial results.
    • Coordinate the financial audit of each client's activities 6-months post go-live to ensure that projected volumes and financial results are consistent with the contractual expectations.
    • Liaise with the real estate, finance, and risk management teams as needed to resolve issues pertaining to the effective implementation of the client solution.
    • Works collaboratively with the Customer Relations & Operational Excellence teams to design, develop, and maintain key supply chain performance metrics for existing clients, and provides recommendations to the business for continuous improvement initiatives, consistent with our service offering, to enhance customer value and improve financial performance.
    • Stays current with industry trends through continuing education and provides a feedback loop to VP Strategic Solutions for the development of new project management tools, technology, products and services. Recommend to achieve 4 continuing education credits per year. Qualifying Experience
      • B.S. in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management with relevant course work and/or post graduate work in project management, financial logistics, supply and chain performance evaluation.
      • M.S. degree preferred if combined with relevant training. Formal training in advanced supply chain technologies inclusive of: WMS, TMS, ERP, Microsoft Project or similar, and network modeling/optimization applications.
      • Ten years of practical work experience in supply chain modeling and optimization - inclusive of the disciplines of warehousing, transportation, inventory, and financial logistics management.
      • Thorough understanding of fundamental principles of supply chain management and the inter-dependencies of warehousing, transportation, and inventory carrying costs from manufacturing through to patient consumption. Knowledge of compliance to federal and state regulatory guidelines.
      • Ability to collect data, design complex solutions, and effectively translates and communicates same in coherent and clear proposal documents.
      • Ability to influence others through effective communication, shaping behaviors and opinions. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to communicate at the senior management level.
      • Ability to understand the principles of contracts management, risk management, and financial audit and accounting principles.
      • Demonstrated skills in the mastery of supply chain tools and technology.
