Job Description:

The IT Network Security Manager is responsible for diagnosing, automating and managing the network security processes for on-premise and cloud architectures. Working closely with developers, quality assurance, support and devops engineers while uses continuous integration tools, scripts and manual processes to ensure that all teams are able to perform their jobs securely.What You'll Be Doing* Build and lead a team of security and network engineers * Design and implement security-relevant policies and technical cybersecurity controls * Attack/Defend system(s) to fully assess implemented controls across products * Analyze source code and security scan reports for security vulnerabilities and develop/implement mitigations * Deploy and maintain modern security incident and event management systems * Develop alerting capabilities based on security intelligence, post incident findings, new threats and vulnerabilities * Responsible for all operations and maintenance of network systems within a hybrid architecture Requirements* Experience managing teams of 2-5 engineers * Understanding of overlay networking and Kubernetes container network interface plugins * Infrastructure-as-code via Terraform and CloudFormation * Significant experience designing, deploying, and supporting production cloud environments, particularly multi-region/multi-AZ environments * Continuous network monitoring and logging of all applications layers and all infrastructure (e.g. CloudWatch, New Relic, DataDog). * 3-5 years of experience in?Linux,?Windows, AWS and Azure * Prior experience is a nice-to-have in the following tools and technologies:? * * AWS: EC2, S3, EFS, RDS, Dynamo DB, Lambda, CloudFormation, Docker? * Jenkins * Git? * RESTful web services? * Shell scripting? * Apache? * MySQL? * C# * SOLR * IIS? * Help Desk ticketing systems, such as JIRA? * Deep knowledge of Linux system administration and shell scripting experience? * Working with containers and orchestration such as Docker or Kubernetes.? * Scripting automation with tools such as?PowerShell, Bash, Python.?? * At least 2 years' experience supporting applications and systems in a production environment, preferably for a SaaS software organization? * Prior experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure building tools and applications is highly desirable? * Solution oriented, constructive approach to problem-solving?
