Overview:Support communications on complex scientific regulatory submissions for a Fortune 200 Company with some of the most iconic brands! Have an advanced degree with eight years of professional experience? Do you have experience in medical or scientific writing? If so, we want to speak with you!
We are currently seeking a Manager, Scientific Communications Support to join our Regulatory Affairs (RA) organization in Richmond, VA. or we are open to remote work arrangements.
The Manager, Scientific Communications Support will support communication of complex scientific information in clear and compliant written communications in preparation of high-quality documents for FDA product applications and submissions, presentation at scientific conferences and submission to journals.
In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate with various subject matter experts (SME) to gather, organize and present scientific information on new products and/or methods.
  • Assess data on products and processes.
  • Develop clear and effective communications of scientific information received from SMEs, including from study reports, and from literature searches and reviews.
  • Edit communications to incorporate management, SME and other reviewer comments.
  • Conduct review of material prepared by scientists to include abstracts, protocols and study reports.
  • Maintain and administer our internal manuscript review process.
  • Lead project timelines and/or vendors to deliver accurate and high-quality scientific communications.
    What we want you to have:
    • Master's or PhD in science, engineering, toxicology, psychology, chemistry or a related field.
    • 8+ years of relevant experience.
    • 5+ years medical or scientific writing experience preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical and critical thinking.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills and proven ability to meet timelines.
    • Strong communication skills, proficient command of the English language in both oral and written format, and action orientation to address issues.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, Reference Manager and other related technology tools
