Job Description:

The Account Director drives new business within Unboxed customers. As Account Director, you deepen and expand client relationships by challenging our clients to think "outside the box," demonstrating how the services of Unboxed create the best possible outcomes. You will make great partnerships with clients and have an internal team of experts around you who present learning solutions and proposals. In addition to managing client expectations and budgets, you support the Unboxed Sales, Delivery, & Product teams in operating resources, timelines, and sales goals. As an Account Manager at Unboxed, your practices, ability to inspire followership in highly diversified teams, and Learning & Development thought leadership creates exceptional client experiences and enables you to grow client accounts year-over-year. We have organized the critical skills required to be a successful an Account Director into four key areas:

  • Relationship Building - the ability to develop effective, positive relationships within accounts
  • Customer Insight - the ability to connect the dots and deliver on client needs
  • Influencing People - the ability to inspire action and approvals both internally and within the client's organization
  • Results Focused - the ability and desire to provide immediate effects and achieve goals. Specific Responsibilities:
  • Developing strategy to grow client accounts by actively networking and connecting dots to other sell-in opportunities.
  • Regularly meet and exceed revenue goals, analyzing other KPIs and reporting metrics to stakeholders.
  • We provide strategic oversight and vision to a client project, including thought leadership and advice, challenging the status quo, and aligning multiple senior-level leaders to reach a decision.
  • Leading strategic meetings by establishing an agenda, defining roles and responsibilities, steering the conversation to gain alignment, and communicating desired outcomes.
  • Leading quarterly business reviews with clients by highlighting achievements using data and strategic insights, establishing a vision of future deliverables and achievements, and gaining buy-in and support to grow the account.
  • Leading and collaborating with the Unboxed Executive and Delivery Teams to create strategic proposals, presentations, and SOWs for clients.
  • Updating the CRM and ensuring stakeholders are aware of changes within client accounts.
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time to visit clients on-site (overnight required) Qualifications:
    • Ability to inspire followership while building solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to use strategic questioning to comprehensively understand the nature of the client's business and needs.
    • Ability to drive both the strategy and execution of initiatives to meet goals
    • Must be meticulously organized, have excellent attention to detail, and have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Expertise in sales tools, know your way around software like HubSpot, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and others.
    • Fluent in Microsoft Office and can write clear and concise content and engage your audience with new business presentations Preferred:
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
      • 2+ years of experience managing enterprise accounts in a services-based company
      • 2+ years of experience achieving sales/growth targets within accounts
