We are actively looking for a Director of Mobility to join our Richmond office. The Director of Mobility addresses personal and workforce mobility issues at the corridor, network, and commercial levels. Linking land use, non-motorized, public transportation, micro-transit, technology, road and street adaptations, regulatory, and demand management solutions is the goal of this position-in essence breaking down the siloed transportation walls that inhibit personal and workforce mobility.   • Lead complex transportation/mobility projects and programs requiring creative planning, regulatory, investment, and operational solutions
  • Lead planning, environmental, and public transit projects and programs within Moffatt & Nichol footprint
  • Develop new markets for Moffatt & Nichol in the mobility sphere, including urban and industrial workforce access; urban mobility initiatives linking public and micro transit with complementary land uses and street adaptations; urban freight technology optimizations; and other cross-cutting solutions

  • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree is preferred
  • 15+ years of experience American Institute of Certified Planner designation (AICP)
  • Professional Engineer licensure is preferred
  • Executive and operational experience preferred
  • Consulting experience in mobility strongly preferred
  • Availability and willingness to travel
