With 466 beds, we specialize in heart care at the Levinson Heart Hospital and emotional and mental health services through the Tucker Pavilion. Our ER is also a state-authorized Level II trauma center and we offer Central Virginias only Pediatric ER staffed 24/7 by pediatric-trained ER nurse and physician specialists. (https://www.facebook.com/cjwmedicalcenter)Qualifications EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:* Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing from a school of professional nursing (required)* BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred) LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:* Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Virginia as a Registered Nurse (required)* Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist* American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required)* ACLS(required) EXPERIENCE: Required: Two years of telemetry experience in a high volume unit and successful completion of critical care course class. Preferred: Any of the following experience as an RN: * Two years of critical care experience in an ICU / CCU setting* Two years of experience in a busy Emergency Department* Two years of Electrophysiology experience HOURS: * Full Time* 10 hour shifts* 80 hours every pay period (every two weeks) Our employees come first.
