In addition to performing fetal assessments and providing appropriate interventions, you will also use appropriate interventions for OB pain management and perform/monitor OB anesthesia/analgesia to provide appropriate interventions. As an L&D Registered Nurse, you will demonstrate support of Lactation Services and perform Labor and Delivery surgical proceduresYou will communicate effectively with all members of health care team utilizing verbal and written skillsYou must respond to acute changes in unit and patient conditionsEnsuring medications are administered according to hospital policy is a key responsibilityYour role will demonstrate professionalism, accountability and commitment to nursing care in labor and delivery What qualifications you will need: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact licenseCurrent BLS certificationAt least one year of Labor and Delivery RN experience This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
