  • Caring for all pregnant women who present emergently, regardless of circumstance
  • Caring for unassigned patients
  • Evaluating and treating triage patients
  • Providing consultation to the ED
  • Monitoring labor
  • Delivering babies

It currently sees about 1,800 annual deliveries. The history of Petersburg, Virginia is almost as long as the history of the United States.
