Qualifications The PGY1 Pharmacy Resident must successfully
complete all of the goals, objectives and requirements as set forth
by the CJW Medical Center Residency Program Manual within the
standard 12-month residency training program (or commiserate time
in the case of need for leave from the program). These overall
goals include, but are not limited to, the completion of all
Learning Experiences in a satisfactory manner and the completion of
a major project. If an assignment requires that the resident be on
site, the resident will complete their assignment without further
compensation from CJW Medical Center. The resident's primary
professional commitment is to the residency program. EXPERIENCE
Required- Effective communication skills are required. Effective
written and verbal skills are required. Required-Experience using
computer applications including word processing, spreadsheet
software and pharmacy information systems. EDUCATION Required-
Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy at a college or
university. Required- Licensure by the Virginia State Board of
Pharmacy by examination or reciprocityby September 1stof the
residency year commiserate to ASHP PGY1 Residency Standards.
Failure to become licensed by September 1stof the residency year is
grounds for dismissal from the residency program. This role
requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local,
state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or
religious exemption is approved). CJW Medical Center is comprised
