your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and Qualifications Job
Summary \n Functions as a member of the healthcare team to
facilitate and promote teamwork toward promotion of quality patient
care.Primary Stroke Center Certification process, and Hip and Knee
Certification process; including development and review of
protocols and policies.Acts as committee chair for all
accreditation or certification programs.Initiates and manages
databases for recording and reporting data related to disease
specific certifications.Aggregates and reports on data relevant to
certification programs in relevant committees.Assists facility
staff to achieve their potential as members of an effective team
through innovative educations practices related to the above
certifications and accreditations.Works collaboratively with
department directors to evaluate educational needs of staff and
develops and implements plans to meet those identified needs in
conjunction with the Organizational Development department and unit
Clinical Resource Nurses in relation to above certifications and
accreditations.Assists in assuring that appropriate standards of
care, practice and performance, and policy and procedures are in
place through direct observation of clinical practice and
collaboration with the management team regarding accreditations and
certifications.Communicates effectively, both written and verbally,
with all members of the healthcare team, customers and key
stakeholders.Assumes responsibility for own growth as a
professional including: participation in a professional
organization, Attendance at professional seminars and through
formal educational activities. What qualifications you will need:
Required Graduate of accredited School of NursingPreferred
Bachelor's Degree Preferred Demonstrated experience in leadership,
multidisciplinary collaboration, interpersonal communication, and
change management Preferred Demonstrated proficiency in basic
computer skills (email, word processing)Required Current Virginia
State licensure by the State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse
or compact license This role requires you to be fully vaccinated
for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or
regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
