location. Job Summary and Qualifications We are seeking a RN Career
Pathway Advisor to provide strategic coordination to all nurse
externs and new graduate nurses at CJW Medical Center from the time
of hire through onboarding. Role will split time between Chippenham
Hospital and Johnston-Willis Hospital. If you are a RN or
Healthcare Program/Project Manager with a passion for and a

you will do in this role: Collaborate with new grad StaRN/nurse
extern recruitment teamScope includes all new nurse hires (LPN and
RN)Attend, facilitate, and coordinate events (cohort kick-off,
graduation celebrations, recruitment events, etc.)Provide routine
touchpoints and communication for nurse externs to optimize
engagement and retentionEngage all new hires during weekly for the
first 3 months of employmentAttend bi-weekly retention
committeeProblem solve with new nurse and preceptor for any issues
that are identified or risk for successful employmentIdentify and
escalate concerns to unit director, CNO, and other identified
stakeholders as neededProvide guidance and direction for future
career pathwaysSupport the new nurse through all steps of the
orientation and onboarding processDevelop retention plan to convert
to RN/LPN hiresAttend clinical recruitment luncheons to promote and
recruit future nurse externsEngage with senior practicum students
for potential nurse extern employmentAdvise hiring managers and
facilitate/participate in selection decision-making meetingsUtilize
and leverage data systems and tools, in order to examine, validate,
and drive performanceProvide relationship management and support
that facilitates stakeholder connections and alignment of
intentional student engagement activities that result in exemplary
clinical experiencesOptimize work environment to enhance programs
for new graduates to elevate engagement and optimize
retention.Nurse extern alignment to optimize and prioritize
workforce planning needs. What qualifications you will need:
Associate's degree from an accredited Nursing program (BSN
preferred), or degree in a related healthcare or program/project
management field.Experience in relevant program management and/or
project management in a healthcare setting.3+ years of clinical
operations, recruitment and/or education in healthcare
setting.Professional experience in recruitment and selection
activities preferred.If Registered Nurse, graduate of an accredited
School of Nursing.If Registered Nurse, current RN License in
Virginia or Current Multistate Compact License. This role requires
you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and
/or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious
