• Employment Type: TravelUnit Info:-Acute Care Pediatrics is a general medical surgical unit with 49 bed unit comprising of private and semi private rooms. It incorporates 7 progressive level of care beds. The patient population consists of hematology-oncology, pulmonary, nephrology, general surgery with subspecialties. The ratio is 1:2-3 nurse/patient ratio with the progressive level of care patients and 1:3-4 for the general level of care patients. MUST HAVE:--- at least 1.5 years of pediatric experience at major medical centers. --- Advanced PEDS experience/progressive level of care required.--- CPR & PEARS or PALS requiredCan offer block schedulingHolidays negotiable depending on the time of year. No on call. Can be reassigned within the division (general care pediatrics, NICU, Newborn nursery, Burn unit, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, Bone Marrow Transplant Unit).Dress code: Ceil blue or white scrubs (any combination).
