Licensed Mental Health ClinicianRichmond, VirginiaSummit Emotional HealthSummit Emotional Health is seeking an Independent Contractor, Licensed MentalHealth Clinician to join our growing private practice in Richmond, Virginia. We areeager to engage with highly motivated and dynamic professionals who would like towork within a very comprehensive and collaborative Team. We are proud to be one ofthe only providers in the region who offer one place for psychotherapy, mindfulness,comprehensive assessments, educational consultation, and psychiatric services. We arecurrently hiring a child and adolescent clinician, as well as a clinician who serves clientsacross the lifespan.Summit's multidisciplinary Team enjoys collaborating to provide comprehensivesolutions to our community. Compensation is highly competitive and we seek to providea flexible schedule and support individual areas for growth. Summit does not contractwith insurance companies; we find that this helps provide a strong work/life balance forour Team. We also have an excellent administrative Team that coordinates triage calls,intake scheduling, billing, and marketing.Qualifications: Applicants must be licensed in the State of Virginia and hold a degreefrom an accredited mental health program with one of the following credentials:Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), LicensedClinical Social Worker (LCSW), and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).Requirements: Applicants must have a minimum of two-years, post-licensure clinicalexperience. Two years of clinical experience in a private practice setting is stronglypreferred.Full-time and Part-time positions are available. This is an Independent Contractorposition, which provides flexibility in scheduling. There is a minimum requirement oftwo-days per week. Three to Four Days per week is preferred.Candidates require extensive training in evidence-based practice, specific to their area ofstudy. Summit values individuals who have pursued additional clinical training and education to better serve a specific clinical population or diagnosis. It is expected thatcandidates can speak to the evidenced-based practices and therapeutic approaches theyspecialize in during the interview process. Special consideration will be given toindividuals with experience treating behavioral issues (ADHD, ODD, CD), anxietydisorders (GAD, panic disorder, social anxiety, OCD, phobias), mood disorders(depression, bipolar), and relationship issues (social skills, relationship stress).Primary duties would include weekly, outpatient therapy with the applicant's clinicalpopulation of interest (children, adolescents, adult, geriatric, family, etc.). Parentconsultation and therapeutic group opportunities are also available.
