Job Description City/State Suffolk, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Sentara Obici is hiring a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team! *This position qualifies for a Sign On Bonus! Ask for more details.* SHIFT: M-F 7:30am - 4:30pm; Call Required. Travel to other area hospitals is required, as needed. A Neurodiagnostic Tech performs a wide variety of neurophysiological diagnostic studies in the laboratory, intra-operatively and in the intensive care settings; operates and performs preventative maintenance on complex monitoring instruments; documents all acquired data for interpretation; ensures tests performed are properly ordered, charged and reported; makes independent assessments that may indicate urgent medical interaction. Education: - Graduate of an accredited EEG/Neurodiagnostic Tech Program. Certification/Licensure: - Basic Life Support Experience: - 1 Year of experience as an EEG/Neurodiagnostic Tech or; - 1 year of experience is waived for new graduates of an accredited EEG/Neurodiagnostic Tech Program.
