TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20007! Pay Information $1,916 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years Minimum Experience Required License: DC RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Must provide proof of pending DC license status at time of submission. Must have DC license in hand prior to start date. Screen strong Medical-Surgical RN candidates with 1.5 to 2 years of experience in a steady flow. Unit accepts first-time travelers. Description: This position is for a registered nurse in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry specialty. The nurse will work a night shift schedule, three times a week. Every other weekend is required. The nurse will be required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity. Telemetry skills are required, including experience monitoring patients. Preferred skills include previous charge experience, IV therapy, phlebotomy, and familiarity with Cerner. The nurse will participate in providing care in a short-term acute care environment. The total number of staffed beds is 402. The unit has specific requirements related to time off during contracts. Two supervisor references are required for submission. Local candidates must live within a specified distance.
