Pay Information $1,956 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: Virginia or Compact License Required Certifications: BLS-AHA Required Must-Have: ICU experience preferred. Nurse-patient ratio no more than 1:6. Float availability required. Description: Seeking a registered nurse for a medical surgical unit. The position requires working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Previous ICU experience is preferred. The nurse-to-patient ratio in the unit is no more than 1:6. Travelers should be prepared to float to other facilities if needed. Notification for float shifts will be provided approximately one day in advance. COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required, with medical or religious exemptions considered. Travelers must be willing to work at least one holiday during the 13-week assignment, with two holidays required during winter holidays. Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are considered local and not eligible for this position. Exceptions apply for specific inpatient roles. Previous employees must wait a minimum of one year before reapplying for a traveler position.
