Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Chesapeake, Virginia, 23320! Pay
Information $2,110 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13
weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of
3 years in Critical Care preferred. Strong neuro experience
required. License: VA or Compact License required Certifications:
BLS, ACLS required via American Heart Association; NIHSS required
Must-Have: Strong neuro experience (post-neurosurgical, EVD, and
stroke), proficiency in EPIC, ability to float to different units
including Stepdown Unit. Description: Located in a beautiful area
known for outdoor activities and waterways. Must have strong neuro
experience in post-neurosurgical care, EVD, and stroke management.
Candidates should be experienced with ventilators, IV drip
titration, telemetry monitoring, conscious sedation, and emergency
management. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2-3. Candidates with 3
years of critical care experience are preferred but strong
applicants without this experience will be considered. Floating to
the Emergency Department and MedSurg may be required to care for
ICU patients. Patient populations include neurosurgical,
post-stroke, respiratory failure, renal failure, post-surgical,
trauma, sepsis, MODS, heart failure, and post-cardiac cath.
Candidates must meet all requirements and agree to the facility's
fit testing and testing requirements. Medical or religious
