Job Description Experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician
Assistant needed for a busy Pain Management practice in Virginia
Beach. Gershon Pain Specialists is an established and long-standing
private practice with a focus on non-opioid treatment options in
Virginia Beach, providing exceptional care to all of Hampton Roads
and beyond. We help people experience a healthy, pain free life.
Through mainstream and alternative treatment options, patients
discover the lifelong benefits of their body performing at its
highest potential. Responsibilities 1. Provide direct patient care
under the supervision of Dr. Gershon. 2. Perform physical
examination, compile medical data, and record medical history. 3.
Implement a treatment plan on new and established patients in
conjunction with Dr. Gershon. 4. Order appropriate diagnostic
studies when indicated. 5. Instruct patients and families regarding
treatment plan and medications. 6. Consult with physician, when
warranted, to assess patient condition and treatment plan. 7.
Ensure medical charts are documented and coded. 8. Monitor and
maintain continuity of care between visits. 9. Provide follow-up
care to patients according to practice standards. 10. Cross cover
other providers when PTO is taken. 11 Perform Joint injections,
Trigger point injections, Botox, Visco Supplementation
Qualifications - Physician Assistant License (Required) - DEA
Certification (Preferred) - CPR Certification (Preferred) - Pain
