Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: Special Procedures Tech - Radiology Job Details: • Tuesday through Friday schedule for one position • Monday through Thursday schedule for one position • 2 years of hospital experience required • Must have neuro IR (interventional radiology) experience • BLS certification required • Perform heavy neuro volume procedures • Work with Phillips and GE biplane equipment • Use Meditech EMR system • Navy scrubs required • Call responsibilities for after hours and weekends • Work in 4-bed angiography/special procedures unit • Collaborate with team of 9 staff members including 5 RNs and 4 technologists on day shift Facility: This medical center campus features a specialized angiography and special procedures unit with 4 beds and modern imaging equipment. The facility maintains a team of experienced healthcare professionals and utilizes advanced technology including Phillips and GE biplane systems.
