ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/05/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work on medical surgical unit with 18-bed capacity • Patient ratios of 1:6 for nursing staff and 1:9 for PCTs • Every other weekend schedule required with no call responsibilities • Float to Med Surg and Inpatient Rehab areas as needed • Required certification: BLS • Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required • Must have medication administration experience and clinical assessment experience • Preferred experience with NG tubes, feeding tubes, Foley catheters, surgical drains, wound care, and IV fluid/medication administration • Work with equipment including IV pumps, PCA pumps, SCDs, and K pads • Perform typical procedures including surgical assessments, post-operative care, and patient teaching • Flexibility required for best personality fit • Work in mixed staffing environment with day shift staffing of 1 RN, 2 LPN, 2 PCT and night shift staffing of 1 RN, 2 LPN, 2 PCT Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive medical surgical unit providing post-operative care and general medical services to patients.
