Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Unit Specifics: · Number of Beds : 11 Labor Beds/ 2 Triage/ 2 OR · Patient Ratios : 1:1 Laboring patients 3:1 Couplets · Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Birth Registrar/Surgical OR Techs · Type of equipment : Monica- wireless fetal monitoring/ GE fetal monitoring · Documentation system: Meditech/ CPN · Scheduling requirements: Every 3rd weekend · Floating policy: Float to Sister Facility LD/PP · Patient Experience requirements: Bedside Report/ Safety Rounding Hospital Specifics- · Certifications: Burn Certified/ Trauma Certified Requested Skill Set: Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby Must have: Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby, magnesium administration for pre-eclamptic patients Advanced skills needed: NRP, BLS Procedures performed on unit: C-section, circumcision, vaginal deliveries, antepartum testing, ultra sounds Certifications Required: Fetal Monitor Certification
