preferred Description: MUST HAVE A 01/05 START DATE. The unit is a
general medical-surgical floor, with a focus on stroke and neuro
care. There are a total of 34 beds with a maximum capacity of 43
patients. Staffing typically includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 3
techs, and 1 unit secretary during day shifts. Night shifts consist
of 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 1 tech, and 1 unit secretary. Patient
ratios are 5:1. Key equipment includes remote telemetry and EMR
system Meditech. Candidates must possess essential skills required
for the role. Compassion, engagement, and an upbeat personality are
preferred traits. The dress code consists of navy scrubs. The unit
has received multiple awards for excellence in patient care,
including Daisy awards, and is recognized for maintaining a high
