Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Endoscopy Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Endoscopy Technician Position Location Hopewell, VA Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Start and end times may vary day to day. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our close-knit department. The technician will work in three procedure rooms, assisting with both outpatient and inpatient GI procedures, including colonoscopies, EGDs, bronchoscopy, and PEG tube placements. The role involves scope room duties along with technical support in the procedure room. Responsibilities Assist with gastrointestinal procedures, including colonoscopy, EGD, bronchoscopies, and PEG tube placements. Perform scope reprocessing and maintain equipment cleanliness. Collaborate effectively with physicians and nurse anesthetists during procedures. Manage duties in the scope room efficiently, coordinating with the surgical team. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Experience in performing GI procedures, bronchoscopy, and PEG tube placements. Familiarity with Olympus scopes, Boston Scientific instruments, and Steris equipment. Documentation experience with Meditech Expanse is preferred. No specific certifications required for this role.
