Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n CT Technologist - CT Tech /n/n Job Details: /n • Work variable schedule including weekends: Saturday-Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Monday 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM /n• 36 hours per week with weekend and holiday rotation required /n• No on-call responsibilities /n• Must have minimum 2 years of hospital experience required /n• Virginia license or compact license required at submission /n• Ability to work independently covering both CT and X-ray modalities /n• Often single staff coverage for both CT and X-ray /n• Handle normal emergency room procedures (no surgical procedures or biopsies) /n• Work with moderate pediatric volume in acute stroke ready environment /n• Professional, friendly demeanor with excellent communication skills required /n• Required certifications: CPR, ARRT, ARRT-CT /n• Equipment includes GE Optima CT scanner and GE portable x-ray /n• Documentation systems: Meditech and Sectra /n• Dress code: Grey scrubs required /n• No floating between units required /n• Handle average of 80 patients per day with 100 during winter surge volume /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a 12-bed freestanding emergency room with a 7-bed vertical fast track area, serving as an Acute Stroke Ready facility. The organization maintains Comprehensive Stroke certification and is affiliated with Trauma Level 1 and Burn Center facilities on the main campus.
