- Experience in oncology nursing preferred - Skills in care and
management of ports, central lines, and IVs - Knowledge in the
management of acute tumor lysis syndrome, anaphylaxis, and sepsis -
Experience in outpatient radiation oncology Description: This
position is for a Nurse Navigator in a medical surgical oncology
setting. The role focuses on providing care to patients primarily
diagnosed with cancer. You will be responsible for managing and
educating patients regarding their treatment plans. Care tasks
include skincare, wound care, assessment of radiation toxicity, and
social needs. The Nurse Navigator will perform telephone triage and
assess any concerning symptoms. You will consult with the necessary
healthcare providers as needed. Charting will be done using the
Cerner system. This role does not require chemotherapy
certification, as the focus is on radiation care. You will engage
in care coordination and support clinic operations, including
