Pediatric ER experience Description: Provide high-quality patient
care in a pediatric emergency setting. Manage patients experiencing
a variety of conditions, including asthma, DKA, and fever in
neonates. Perform special procedures such as moderate sedation and
breathing treatments. Administer blood and blood products, and
perform rapid transfusions. Utilize advanced medical technologies,
including CPAP and BiPap, high-frequency ventilation, and chest
tube care. Carry out nursing interventions and care for patients
with tracheostomies and central lines. Maintain a nurse-to-patient
ratio of 1:4. Work collaboratively with ancillary staff, including
technicians and LPNs/LVNs. Participate in rotating weekend and
holiday shifts as part of the required schedule. Demonstrate
proficiency in the care of patients in various acute medical and
