Registered Nurse (RN) for our step down unit. This role is pivotal
in managing patients who have been stepped down from ICU but still
require a higher level of care than provided in a general
medical-surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in acute care nursing, a compassionate approach, and a
commitment to upholding the highest medical standards. This
position is crucial not only in monitoring and providing patient
care but also in supporting patients and their families during
recovery phases. Closely monitor the progress and recovery of step
down patients. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for
reactions and side effects. Record patients’ vital signs, symptoms,
and medical information accurately. Educate patients and their
families on treatment plans and recovery processes. Collaborate
with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to formulate effective
care plans. Ensure adherence to all hospital and departmental
policies and procedures. Strong clinical skills in acute care
settings. Proficient in using medical software and electronic
health records. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle high-stress situations with a calm demeanor.
Detail-oriented with strong observational skills. Medical Insurance

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. Basic
Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life
Support (ACLS) certification.
