Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Newport News, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Position Details: 12 HR PM - every other weekend and holiday Floating: Agency staff are expected to float to like or lower acuity units and between hospitals/facilities when there is a staffing need Will not accept local candidates (locals are considered to be within 50 miles of facility) Will be required to take Dysrhythmia exam at orientation (study guide located in Simplify Library) At least 2 years of experience in area at least 1 year of travel experience BLS, ACLS, & NIH VA/COMPACT licensure Unit Specific Details: 3 North - Monitor tech on unit, charge nurse every shift, nursing supervisor in house 24 hours/day, medic for difficult IVs/midline placements. 28 beds Drips- Heparin, Cardizem, amiodarone, nitro, Dopamine (no titration), Lines/Drains/ Specific devices used- TCDs, PICCS, midlines, CBI Oxygen- NC, Hi-flow, trach, Patient population- A-fib, NSTEMI/STEMI, CHF, CVA/TIA, Anasarca, Chest pain, cardiac workup-angina, SVT, post cardiac cath, dialysis, AKI, pulmonary edema, hypokalemia/hyperkalemia, other metabolic disorders affecting cardiac output/conduction.
