Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Operating Room OR RN to
join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in maintaining our
commitment to excellence in patient care by facilitating smooth
operational flow in the operating room and assisting surgeons
during various procedures. Your expertise will contribute directly
to our mission of caring for and improving human life by ensuring
that all procedures are conducted safely and effectively. As part
of our team, you will work in state-of-the-art facilities and have
the opportunity to grow and advance in your professional nursing
career. Prepare operating rooms for surgery including ensuring that
sterile instruments and necessary equipment are available. Assist
surgeons during operations while maintaining sterile environments.
Monitor patient vital signs during surgery and report any concerns
to attending physicians immediately. Provide post-operative care
and instructions to patients and their families. Collaborate with
other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient
care plans. Strong surgical and clinical skills in an operating
room setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to respond quickly and efficiently in high-pressure
situations Proficient in using electronic medical records and
medical software Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
preferred
