Job Description:
MedStar Health, a leading non-profit healthcare provider in the
D.C.-Maryland-Virginia region, is looking for a compassionate and
skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Home Care team in
Prince George's County. This role involves working under the
supervision of our Physical Therapists to provide rehabilitative
services to patients in their homes, helping them improve mobility
and achieve their highest functional potential. The ideal candidate
will bring dedication and innovation to our patient-first service
approach, ensuring all treatment plans are executed with the
highest standards of care. Assist Physical Therapists in
implementing treatment plans for home care patients. Document
patient progress and report back to the supervising therapist.
Educate patients and families about health programs and
maintenance. Operate and maintain clinical equipment. Ensure
compliance with all healthcare regulations and privacy laws. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle physical
demands of patient assistance. Proficiency in documentation and
patient management software. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current state license as a
Physical Therapist Assistant. Valid driver's license and reliable
transportation. CPR and First Aid certification.
