Virginia Health District (CVHD) is seeking a dedicated and
detail?oriented Office Services Specialist Supervisor to support
its mission of protecting and promoting the health of communities
across Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, Campbell, and Lynchburg. This
role oversees daily administrative operations, ensures efficient
workflow, and provides leadership to office support staff in a
fast?paced public health environment between the Bedford and
Campbell County offices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate
strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to guide
a team in delivering high?quality customer service to both internal

KSAs: • Considerable knowledge of and experience in program
organization, ability to query and enter data into web-based
database. Computer skills necessary. • Excellent customer service
and communications skills (oral and written) • Ability to work
independently with minimal supervision • Ability to work and
contribute within collaborative relationships, including the public
Additional Considerations Experience: 3–5 years of progressively
responsible experience in administrative, office services, and
customer service in a state government setting, with at least 1–2
years in a supervisory role. System Knowledge: Demonstrated
proficiency in state-specific Virginia Department of Health (VDH)
systems. Proficiently in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook,
Teams). Skills: Demonstrated ability to interpret complex policies
and regulations, manage office operations, train staff, and improve
