Job Description:
This Position is Subject to Contract Award JANUS Research Group
is currently seeking a Force Development Senior Analyst for a
contract to support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8. The DCS G-8
is the principal military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army (CSA)
and the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and
Comptroller (ASA(FMC)) for the Programming phase of the Planning,
Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. The DCS, G-8
coordinates with the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition,
Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) on all proposed programming
and process recommendations related to ongoing and future
acquisition programs and science and technology initiatives. The
DCS, G-8 coordinates with Army Futures Command (AFC) for program
funding for all elements of the future force materiel modernization
enterprise. Position Description: Serves as the Senior Analyst for
Force Development within the Directorate of Integration. Provides
analytical support to assess, evaluate, and integrate force
structure, capability, and equipping data to inform modernization
decisions. Reviews and validates force development inputs to ensure
consistency with approved Army processes, documentation, and
policies. Develops reports, briefings, and recommendations
supporting SPAR, POM, and AROC/JROC reviews. Maintains visibility
of force development actions and ensures data accuracy within
approved systems of record Relevant Competencies / Skill Levels: A
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or Business A minimum of four
(4) years of experience and expertise in Force Development duties
Demonstrates expert analytical and technical skills in force
development, capability alignment, and modernization planning.
Proficient in evaluating force structure, documentation, and
equipping data to ensure consistency with approved Army processes
and strategies. Skilled in analyzing capability requirements,
assessing risk, and developing data-driven recommendations that
support SPAR, POM, and AROC/JROC decisions. Possesses strong
analytical and communication abilities to produce clear, accurate
products supporting Army modernization and readiness objectives
