The Virginia Department of Military Affairs State Team provides
professional and responsive state support functions to the Adjutant
General of Virginia, the Virginia National Guard, the Virginia Air
Guard, and the Virginia Defense Force in order to ensure their
ability to support and defend the United States and the
Commonwealth of Virginia. Purpose of Position: To provide services
required in relation to upkeep and maintenance of grounds and
landscaping at the 203rd RED HORSE Squadron. Minimum Qualifications
Ability to be trained to operate various types of motorized
equipment; Must be able to read, write and follow instructions;
Ability to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb and work in tiring and
uncomfortable positions; Ability to carry, lift, and place
equipment weighing 50 pounds while wearing protective/safety
equipment, in all kind of weather; Ability to review and manage
grounds maintenance contracts; Valid Driver's License with an
acceptable driving record required. Additional Considerations .
