Emergency Medicine Physician opening in Virginia Beach, VA - Visa SponsorshipOpportunity in Virginia Beach, VA - Norfolk 18mFull Time, Permanent PositionH1/J1 Visa SupportOverview:Seeking a Board-Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team of experienced and collegial urgent care professionals.The Urgent Care Center operates seven convenient locations across South Hampton Roads, all open daily from 8:00am to 8:00pm, providing walk in access to quality urgent care services. In addition to urgent care services, the Physician will deliver Occupational Health services as part of Urgent Care's offering for local employers.You will be responsible for delivering prompt, high-quality medical care in a fast-paced, outpatient setting: - Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a variety of acute illness and injuries - Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, EKGs, and X-rays - Perform common urgent care procedures: - Laceration repair (suturing/stapling) - Incision and drainage - Splinting and basic orthopedic care - Foreign body removal - Wound care and dressing changes - Supervision of APPs - To be DOT certified - Conduct pre-employment, return-to-work, and DOT physicals (DOT certification required or expected). - Evaluate and treat work-related injuries in compliance with OSHA and workers' compensation guidelines. - Perform and oversee drug and alcohol testing, including adherence to chain-of-custody procedures.Compensation & Benefits:Above market earning potential (competitive compensation structure)Performance incentivesFlexible work/life balanceModern EMR platform - eClinicalWorks (eCW) office-based EMR Epic EMR used in hospitalsFull Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision401KCME allowancePaid vacationPotential signing bonusPotential relocation allowanceMalpractice and tail coverage Health System:Primary Care and 17 specialtiesMore than 300 providers: 120+ Primary Care, 180+ Specialties, 45+ APPs75 Outpatient care sites6 Urgent Care ClinicsCommunity:Virginia Beach, Virginia is a popular summer destination for beachgoers and sun seekers alike.
