This position is a Flexible (Flex) position. You may be regularly scheduled or scheduled on an as needed basis, but there are no guaranteed hours. Flex employees are not entitled to leave or benefits. Learn more about this agency Responsibilities As a Food and Beverage Attendant, NA-7401-03, the incumbent: Collecting sales slips, totaling sales on cash register, accepting payment from patrons and making change as necessary; - Setting up food service counters and steam tables with hot and cold foods and beverages; AND - Preparing fruits and vegetables for cooking and serving. Qualifications The minimum qualifications for this position are: 1.General experience in food establishments using basic food handling techniques, following basic sanitation standards and possess basic math skills. 2. Lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds Education This position does not have an education requirement, nor can education be substituted for experience. Additional information This is an Open Continuous/Standing Register job opportunity announcement. This announcement will be used to fill vacancies as they become available.
