Job DescriptionUkrop's Homestyle Foods is seeking to hire full time Sanitation Associates for our Bakery which is located at 2020 Westmoreland Street. Current position hours are 7:30pm - 4am, Monday - Friday, overtime may be required. Position Summary: The Manufacturing Specialist I in the Sanitation Department is a full-time entry-level position that performs a variety of basic duties associated with equipment cleaning and sanitation processes, to ensure compliance with regulatory food safety and environmental laws are met.Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for facility and equipment cleaning and sanitation to ensure compliance with regulatory, food safety and environmental laws
• Assist in ensuring that the facility is maintained at SQF level of cleanliness at all timesTasks Performed:
  • Ensure all sanitation, equipment and facility cleaning, programs and documentation are met according to guidelines
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning of facility restrooms, break rooms and common areas
  • Work in conjunction with other associates in cleaning equipment
  • Ability to dissemble and assemble equipment for cleaning
  • Work in wet and hot environment
  • Handle and apply cleaning and sanitizing chemicals safely
  • Follow cleaning and sanitizing procedures
  • Maintain sanitation equipment in a clean and organized manner
  • Assisting in ensuring that the SQF system is in place and that we are in compliance with all aspects of HAACP plan, SSOPs and GMPs throughout the plant
  • Reporting all food safety issues to an immediate supervisor Education and Experience:
    • High school degree/equivalent preferred but not required
    • Previous food service, manufacturing or warehouse training/experience preferredMinimum Physical Requirements:
      • The physical demands of the position frequently include:
        • Standing and/or walking for a minimum of four hours
        • Repetitive bending, reaching, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting product weighing up to 50 pounds
        • Exposure to extreme variations in temperature caused by equipment
